The ego has had the job to protect us since we were a child. It hides trauma and gives us a false security to get us through tough times. The ego wounds and reactions we have now come from a long set of patterns that began as children to be okay in a not okay world.
The soul is always whole, wise, loving and kind. It knows everything about us and is divine consciousness and our true self. The soul loves us unconditionally and is the one we look for in other people outside of us when it is inside of us all the while. The soul is our best lover, parent, and friend as it always has our best interests at heart.
Anxiety and fear are the ego wounds developed by holding back the wounds of the child and beyond. Thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs that harm others and us, are the result of this. These ego structures are acting out and pulling us away, as the soul calls us home to our truth, peace, and love.
Controlling self and others are desperate ways to control our reality in the way we want it to be. As we let go of these ways we find there is an inner guide that will guide us and support us in the best way for us in everything.
We are not innately bad, jealous, fearful, angry, hurtful or hurting beings. Our nature is truth and love. Truth is love. Discerning the above qualities as ego wounds instead of a part of us is an important way to begin. If we think we are those negative qualities, we will hold on to them rather than move into our true nature of love.
We are always health, happiness, truth, beauty, light, peace and love-soul. All else are energy and beliefs and qualities we took on to survive and now can learn to dismiss-ego. True healing occurs and we do not have to struggle or strain. Remembering and acting as our true selves brings us into balance again.
Life works in balance and harmony. Letting go of what is not us and releasing the belief that we are subject to these emotions, thoughts, and qualities take effort and a change in consciousness.
There are many methods to accomplishing this. We begin by opening to the wise one who communicates with our mind and body every day and letting go of that which interferes and holds us back from our true self.
Begin by realizing you are innately good and wise, and when you feel different from that, release, let go, and find your way home to happiness, health, peace, and love.
